Mike Azar, Founder

Mike Azar founded Michael's Video in 1983. While originally shooting still photos in 1972, Mike transitioned the company to shooting video in 1983. Over the past 33 years Mike has grown the business to be one of the most respected video production firms in all of Virginia.

While not filming as much these days, Mike remains the primary contact for many clients. Mike currently resides in Salem, VA with his wife of 36 years, Connie. When not shooting or collaborating with Jacob, Mike and Connie enjoy travelling and spending time with family and fiends. They have one adult son, Justin, who resides in Washington DC.

Jacob Dellinger, Owner/ Lead Filmmaker

Ten-time EMMY Award-Winning Filmmaker, Jacob Dellinger has always loved anything audio-visual. As a kid, his father encouraged him and his brother, Hogan, to follow their passion for video. Many of his formative years were spent building surround sound systems, installing car AV systems, and making obnoxiously hilarious amateur videos. After high school, Jacob planned to attend film school at UNC Wilmington; however, "life happened" and he never made it to film school. Nevertheless, as fate would have it Jacob met Mike Azar through mutual acquaintances.

In 2004, Jacob began as a videographer for Michael's Video. Shortly thereafter, he took on the responsibilities of lead editor. In late 2014, with over ten years of experience as an event videographer and cinematographer as well as the primary editor, Jacob officially took over the reins as owner and operator of Michael's Video. Throughout his years working with Mike, Jacob introduced Mike to several of our key players...namely, his wife, Molly, and his brother, Hogan. 

Jacob currently resides in New Castle, VA with his wonderful wife Molly, and their 4 kiddos.

Molly Dellinger, Associate Filmmaker & Editor

Molly Dellinger is a very unique player in our firm. Molly began shooting with Michael's Video in 2009, in large part to be able to spend more time with her hubby, Jacob. However, Molly has an amazing attention to detail that only a woman could bring to our team. In recent years, Molly has taken on additional duties as not only a shooter but an editor for many of our wedding films. 

When not shooting or editing, Molly is taking care of her 4 kiddos as well as providing support and encouragement to her husband Jacob.

Hogan Dellinger, Lead Filmmaker & Editor

Like his brother Jacob, Hogan has always been interested in audio/visual production, particularly professional audio production. Shortly after high school, Hogan interned at Flat 5 Recording Studio in Salem, VA. Hogan planned to attend Belmont University in Nashville, TN; however, like his brother Jacob, "life happened". In 2005, Hogan was introduced to Mike Azar.

Since working with Michael's Video, Hogan has gained an enormous amount of experience, second only to Mike and Jacob. In 2012, Hogan began working as a team lead. More recently, Hogan has begun editing many of the wedding films you see on display on our website and social media channels.

Shane Parks, Lead Filmmaker

Shane Parks began working with Michael's Video in 2011. Being the tall one in the group, Shane also has a unique perspective to our films. Being an avid outdoorsman, Shane has always enjoyed Country venues. 

Shane currently resides in New Castle, VA along with his beautiful wife Kate and his spirited ginger sons, Lucas and Leland. When Shane isn't leading a film crew, he can be found managing his sports memorabilia store, Sports Haven in Roanoke, VA and playing bass guitar at church.

David Boswell, Associate Filmmaker

Although David Boswell may be the newest member of our team, he most certainly isn't the least competent. Being the techie he is and before even being hired on, David read the instruction manuals to each of our cameras...literally. This attention to detail and thirst for knowledge has helped David to quickly become a valuable asset to our team.

David, his wife, Lauren, and their two beautiful baby girls currently reside in Salem, VA.
